Payment & Payout Policy

This Payment & Payout Policy forms part of the LootBeez Terms of Service. Current values for the minimum payout, payout day, referral bonus, quality-level thresholds and bonuses, and the PAN threshold are always displayed in the app and on your Earnings screen. Those values may be updated from time to time; changes apply only to work approved after the change.

How earnings are calculated

• Each Project shows a rate per hour of approved audio (for recording Projects) or per hour of transcribed audio (for transcription Projects).
• For each Approved Contribution, the amount credited is: rate × duration of the approved audio ÷ 1 hour, calculated to the nearest paisa (₹0.01).
• Duration is measured by our servers from the audio file after automatic trimming of leading and trailing silence on the device. Silence or noise does not increase your earnings.
• Example: a Project pays ₹360 per approved hour. A 6-second recording that is approved earns ₹360 × 6 ÷ 3,600 = ₹0.60.

Quality-level bonus

After at least the minimum number of your Contributions has been reviewed (currently 20), your approval rate over your most recent reviewed Contributions (currently up to 200) determines your level:

The bonus is calculated at the moment each Contribution is approved, based on your level at that moment, and is shown in your statement.

Referral bonus

• You receive the referral bonus shown in the app when a person who signed up with your code or link completes the qualifying amount of approved recordings (currently 30 minutes).
• Each referred person can qualify only once. Self-referral, referral of fake or duplicate accounts, or paying people to sign up is prohibited, and any related bonus will be reversed.

Coordinator commission

Coordinators earn the commission percentage shown in the app on Approved Contributions of the Contributors in their team. The commission is paid by LootBeez from its own share and is never deducted from the Contributor’s earnings.

Review timelines

We aim to review Contributions within seven (7) days. Earnings are credited to your Balance at the moment of approval and appear under Earnings → Statement. Pending Contributions are shown separately and are not part of your Balance until approved.

Payout schedule and method

• Payouts are processed once a week on the payout day shown in the app.
• All Balances at or above the minimum payout (currently ₹100) are included. Smaller Balances carry forward to the next week.
• Payments are made only by UPI, to the UPI ID saved in your profile, which must belong to you. We do not pay to third-party UPI IDs.
• When your payment is sent, you receive an in-app notification and an email with the amount and the UPI reference (UTR). Bank processing may occasionally take up to 48 hours.
• We do not charge any fee for payouts.

Incorrect UPI IDs and failed payments

• You are responsible for keeping your UPI ID correct. If a payment fails or is returned, the amount is restored to your Balance and retried in the next payout, and you are notified to check your UPI ID.
• If a payment is successfully credited to an incorrect UPI ID that you entered, LootBeez is not liable for the loss, but we will provide the transaction details to help you seek recovery from your bank.
• Changes to your UPI ID are logged. To protect you from fraud, we may hold a payout for verification after a recent UPI change.

Tax deduction and PAN

• Where required by the Income-tax Act, 1961 or other law, we will deduct tax at source (TDS) at the applicable rate and deposit it with the government. Deductions are shown in your statement and, where required, reported against your PAN.
• Once your total lifetime earnings reach the PAN threshold shown in the app (currently ₹25,000), we require your PAN to continue paying you. Payouts will be held until a valid PAN is added in your profile. Held amounts are not forfeited.
• If you do not provide a PAN where the law requires one, tax may be deducted at a higher rate as prescribed by law.
• LootBeez does not provide tax advice. Please consult a tax professional about your obligations.

Withholding, reversal and set-off

We may withhold or reverse earnings, and set off amounts against your current or future Balance, where we reasonably determine that they arose from: fraud or breach of the Terms of Service or the Community & Quality Guidelines; a technical or human error resulting in over-payment; or a referral or commission that did not meet the qualifying conditions. We will inform you of the reason and you may dispute it as described below.

Disputes

1. If you disagree with a rejection, a calculation or a payment, raise it from Help → Ask a question in the app (or email support@lootbeez.shop) within fifteen (15) days of the event, giving the relevant details.
2. We will acknowledge within two (2) working days and respond within fifteen (15) days. If a Contribution was wrongly rejected, we will approve it and credit the amount.
3. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer under the Grievance Redressal process.

Statements and records

Your complete earnings statement — every approval, bonus, adjustment and payout with its status and UTR — is available in the app and can be downloaded as a CSV file. We keep payment records for the period required by law.

Account closure and inactive balances

When your account is closed, any approved Balance at or above the minimum payout is paid in the next payout cycle; a smaller Balance is paid on request. If a payout cannot be completed because your UPI ID is invalid and we cannot reach you, we will hold the amount and pay it when you contact us with valid details, subject to applicable law.
