Community & Quality Guidelines

Effective date: 26 October 2026 · Version 1.0

Summary

  • Record in a quiet place, in your own natural voice, exactly what the prompt says.
  • Never submit someone else’s voice, synthetic audio, or a recording played from another device.
  • Be respectful — no abusive content and no harassment of reviewers or other users.
  • Breaking the rules can lead to warnings, rejected work, withheld earnings and account closure.

Recording standards

Environment

  • Record in a quiet room. Turn off fans, coolers, TVs, radios and music where possible.
  • Avoid echoey spaces such as empty rooms with hard walls or bathrooms.
  • Do not record while travelling, in markets, on roads or near running machines.

Technique

  • Hold the phone about 15–20 cm (one hand span) from your mouth, not touching it.
  • Speak at a normal, relaxed pace and volume — do not shout or whisper.
  • Start speaking after you tap record and stop the recording after you finish; very long silences may be rejected.
  • Listen to your recording before submitting. If anything is wrong, tap “Redo”.

Content

  • Read speech: read exactly what is written — do not add, skip or change words. Use the natural pronunciation of your dialect.
  • Voice commands: say the command as you naturally would to a phone or assistant.
  • Image and topic tasks: speak naturally in your dialect about what is asked, for the time requested. Mixing a few common Hindi or English words is fine if that is how you normally speak.
  • Do not say your own or anyone else’s name, phone number, address, bank details or other personal information unless the prompt contains it.

Transcription standards

  • Write exactly what is said, in the script and spelling instructed by the Project (usually Devanagari).
  • Do not correct the speaker’s grammar or translate into another language.
  • Mark unclear words as instructed by the Project (for example [unclear]); do not guess.
  • Do not use automatic transcription tools to produce your answer.

Common reasons for rejection

ReasonHow to avoid it
Background noiseRecord in a quiet room; switch off fans and TV
Voice too low or unclearHold the phone closer, speak clearly
Wrong sentence readRead every word exactly as written
Recording cut offWait until you finish speaking before tapping stop
Wrong language or dialectOnly choose Projects for dialects you speak at home
Fake or duplicateOnly submit fresh recordings of your own voice

Honesty and fair use

The following are serious violations:

  • submitting another person’s voice, including family members, from your account;
  • submitting synthetic, AI-generated, altered or replayed audio;
  • re-submitting the same audio, or audio from another account;
  • operating multiple accounts, self-referral or fake referrals;
  • providing false age, gender, location or dialect information;
  • using automation, scripts or emulators; and
  • offering money or gifts to Reviewers or Coordinators.

Respectful conduct

  • Do not submit abusive, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening or defamatory content.
  • Treat Reviewers, Coordinators, support staff and other users with respect. Harassment or threats will lead to account closure.
  • Never ask anyone for money, OTPs or personal information in the name of LootBeez.

Reviewer standards

  • Listen to each recording fully before deciding. Approve only if it meets the Project instructions and these guidelines.
  • Choose the most accurate rejection reason so the contributor can improve.
  • Be consistent: apply the same standard to everyone. Do not approve or reject based on who the contributor is.
  • Never review your own work or the work of people you know personally. Skip such items.
  • Keep everything you hear and see confidential. Never record, download or share audio, transcripts or user information.
  • Reviewer decisions are audited. Repeated inaccurate reviewing leads to removal of the reviewer role.

Coordinator code of conduct

  • Never charge any fee or ask for any payment to join or to receive work.
  • Explain clearly and truthfully what LootBeez is, what the consent means and how payment works. Do not promise fixed income.
  • Do not pressure anyone to participate, and respect their decision to stop.
  • Do not create accounts on behalf of others, hold anyone’s phone, email or UPI credentials, or record on anyone’s behalf.
  • Help only adults (18+) to join.

Enforcement

Depending on the seriousness and frequency of a violation, we may:

  1. reject the affected Contributions and show you the reason;
  2. send a warning and ask you to retake the training;
  3. temporarily restrict your access to some or all Projects;
  4. withhold or reverse earnings that arose from the violation; and/or
  5. permanently close your account and, where appropriate, report the matter to authorities.

Serious violations such as fraud or impersonation may lead directly to account closure. You may contest any action through the Grievance Redressal process.

Reporting a problem

To report fraud, abuse or a safety concern, write to support@lootbeez.shop or use Help in the app. Reports are handled confidentially.
